One of the issues with IE, Netscape, and Firefox is the inability to make your cookies and favorites travel around with you. Of course there are third party utilities and services to assist, but it’s not flawless. One Firefox developer decided to change this. He created a portable version of Firefox. Rob Howard has recently wrote an article for MSDN discussing ASP.NET performance tips (MSDN - January ‘05). This seems to be additional tips to the original ASP.NET performance tips (QuickStart Examples).

Microsoft has recently released Visual Studio.NET 2003 Special Edition. Included in this edition is Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft SQL Server 2000. The price tag is less than $800 for the full version and $600 for an upgrade. This system will allow a developer to create a true web development environment. When visiting the ASP.NET website, I noticed that today’s featured article was about integrating PayPal into a .NET ECommerce application. I must say that the author, Rick Strahl (president of West Wind Web Connection), did a fine job explaining how to use the PayPal component.
