Nat Friedman has announced on the GitHub blog that it now is offering all of the core functionality for FREE. This means that for free, you can have:
- Unlimited public/private repositories
- Unlimited collaborators (previously was limited to 3)
- 2000 Actions minutes/month (free for public repositories)
- 500MB of GitHub Packages storage (free for public repositories)
In addition, they’ve slashed the team per user pricing from $9 per user per month to $4 per user per month. Team access includes:
- Required reviewers
- 3000 Action minutes/month (free for public repositories)
- 2GB of GitHub Packages storage
- Code owners
