Nat Friedman has announced on the GitHub blog that it now is offering all of the core functionality for FREE. This means that for free, you can have:

  • Unlimited public/private repositories
  • Unlimited collaborators (previously was limited to 3)
  • 2000 Actions minutes/month (free for public repositories)
  • 500MB of GitHub Packages storage (free for public repositories)

In addition, they’ve slashed the team per user pricing from $9 per user per month to $4 per user per month. Team access includes:

  • Required reviewers
  • 3000 Action minutes/month (free for public repositories)
  • 2GB of GitHub Packages storage
  • Code owners
